Our Mission

St. Margaret Regional School provides a Christ-centered academic curriculum instilling Catholic beliefs and values to students from Kindergarten through Grade Eight. We are dedicated to fostering a safe, nurturing, respectful and spiritual learning environment to all students while meeting the call to bring forth each child's indiviudal gifts and personal potential as Christ has inspired us to do.  

A Message from Mr. Hudson

Welcome to St. Margaret Regional School located in Buzzards Bay, Massachusetts. We are called by our Mission Statement as a school community to be dedicated to the message of Jesus Christ, as handed down by the Catholic Church, and to educate our students to give witness to this message.

Our school community is comprised of approximately 210 students from Kindergarten through Grade 8 who are on a fulfilling journey to expand their academic, social and spiritual development. The dedicated and qualified staff members provide excellent witness and direction to assure individual success for each individual.

This website will guide you into the frameworks of St. Margaret’s and provide information to allow you to begin to share in our opportunities and enrichment activities. I encourage you to provide to us your feedback as well as to request further information in any area.

General Information

Each year, Saint Margaret’s educates approximately 210 children from kindergarten through eighth grade. Elementary classes are led by a master teacher and assistants or volunteers, covering all subjects in one classroom. Middle school students (5th through 8th) change classrooms throughout the day, meeting with different teachers by subject area. In addition to the core curriculum, the middle school students participate in interdisciplinary projects, service activities, and other high-school preparatory subjects (such as algebra and civics).
 
The curriculum of Saint Margaret Regional School is aligned with the Massachusetts state educational framework and guided by the principles of the Office of Catholic Schools in the Diocese of Fall River. All teachers are certified by the state of Massachusetts.
